January 9th weekend.
Heather: This was the first weekend after being back at work from holidays so Friday I sort of just collapsed into exhaustion and recovered from an intense week of lots of changes and a big project deadline. fewh! Phil was rather sweet and decided he wanted to make me breakfast on Sunday morning which required a bit of corrdinating because we both went out with different groups of friends on Saturday night. I finally caught up with friends I hadn’t seen in ages. I also spent some time working on some new accessories for my etsy shop.
Here are some things I learned this weekend:
-That one of the most comforting and lovely things to do is lay next to my bf and read a book.
-That after weeks of -30 weather, -3 brings a promise of Spring and nothing beats walking outside.
-Pausing and letting good things catch up to you is an incredible thing.
Liora: My weekend was spent hibernating. i bought myself a much deserved new imac, and then promptly screwed up my old laptop while trying to transfer the files over – still not fixed btw. Unrelated, Karen came home Saturday afternoon and then started puking – now i’m praying that i don’t get whatever she had.
Here are some things I learned this weekend:
-it is probably best to buy the one-to-one support that apple offers. even if you don’t want to out of spite for your sales associate.
